The second Technit event was another great opportunity for us to meet and form as an active community,
We had a chance to see again some of the faces we saw in the first event, and also see new faces, which means our community is slowly growing.
The sessions were very interesting and generated emotional discussions about women status and what we can do to make a difference.
It is always inspiring to feel the great energies we have when we meet and to hear the thoughts of smart, opinionated women.

Below you can find some interesting quotes that Leora Wiseman wrote to herself during the sessions:

Miriam Erez -
"You need to sample the identity that is relevant to the situation." She said this with regards to each of us having multiple identities, e.g. wife, mother, rock climber, engineer, etc. When at work you have the "engineer" identity and leave all others behind.

"If you can't help yourself, help a colleague." Help colleagues find opportunities they are qualified for. Advocate for others.

Aya Soffer -
"Go in directions that intrigue you,"
"Work with people with whom you have good chemistry"
"Ask for challenges you're interested in - sometimes it may solve a problem for both sides."

Oded Zohar -
"Throwing well is more important than catching well."
"Every failure is a starting point."
"Focus on what you can control."
"Aspire to constant movement with others."
"Try to avoid CPA (Constant Partial Attention). It leads to mistakes, hurts concentration, wastes time, and causes stress."

We hope to see you again in the next Technit event!
